Specifically, Gmail users have this problem. After around 500 emails in a day, Gmail will stop allowing you to send emails. Other emails may have limits too, so make sure you look into it before you ask about how you are no longer getting those logs.

Today we see an update to the cure system. Prior to this, it’s had multiple problems and it’s been a weak system in general. The most recent update, however, was a complete and total rewrite. The system is far beyond any other curing system, and it’s completely custom coded and unique – Project Neptune is the first to have it.

First of all, the new system uses messages literally past between both the server and the Project Neptune builder. This allows a much cleaner system for curing. Project Neptune now also has the ability to generate a portable cure that requires a specific password that you used when building your server. This is to prevent just anyone from curing your file from your computer.

Enjoy the update, guys.

Many inexperienced users that are unaccustomed to programs like Project Neptune seriously may need some help on getting their settings configured. Most of them may have no honest idea where to start (although, by default, Project Neptune can build a fully functional server just by entering a gmail user/pass). Because of this and as a bit of a small campaign act by the staff of Project Neptune, we are holding a tutorial competition.

There will be two entries for the tutorial competition. One, a video tutorial, and two, a text/document tutorial (requires pictures). Winners of both will receive a free lifelong subscription of the Premium version of Project Neptune.

Please make sure that you’re willing to make your tutorial for the Premium version as well if you win.

Thanks. Entries are currently open – if you have one, post a link to it in the comments below or post it on the forum.

The free version of Project Neptune is finally here, still just as packed full of features as it was before. Go download it in the download section – but before that, there’s probably a couple things you should know about the new Project Neptune.

The first and foremost matter is that you may notice a couple features disabled that were once enabled. This is simply to promote growth and sales of the Premium version that is coming up. Make sure that you know, however, that for every free feature switched over to Premium, we made sure to add something that enhanced the free version just as much, although it may be behind the scenes or simply in code form. We particularly enhanced the binder’s features and speed quite a bit. We also fixed up some parts of the saving of your application settings, plus we added some features for debugging and the ability to load your saved settings on the program’s startup. Enjoy.

Finally, the website’s came around is fixed up and functioning properly. A simple apology is in order from me to all of you for the long wait; I know this project had a lot of support and gained a lot of momentum, even while I was away. Luckily, there’s going to be some change around the site and around the program. Let’s just say… we’re glad to be back, boys.

Some things you may notice around the site:
[jbox color="green"]We have a fully functioning Support Forum coming up for Project Neptune soon.
We are no longer running on Joomla.
We have a sleek new theme and website design (that wasn’t coded by us or anything, but…).[/jbox]

Here soon, Project Neptune will finally come to it’s official re-release, AND a new Premium version of the program will be coming about around a week afterward. See if you can hold out until then.
